The petri dish of sexual tension – my workplace

]  Well, I guess it had to be “petri dish”, slightly more clinical and scientific than “cattlemarket” – we are a library after all.  But perhaps we’ve always known there’s something slightly frisky about our clientele – recently we decided not to stage a singles night because we’d attract “this sort of thing” by the bucketload.   Case in point: a colleague was asked out a few months back by a customer who said he’d pay her a tenner if she agreed.  Hmmm.  Come to think of it, I’m not sure why I was surprised at the article after all.
